2024 ARTucker Spring Application
Show Specifications: Show date: April 27, 2024, 10AM - 4PM Location: Church Street Green Space, 4316 Church Street, Tucker GA, 30084. ARTucker, a non-profit 501 c 3, is dedicated to showcasing Georgia artists and makers, while cultivating a vibrant arts community in Tucker, Georgia. We create affordable opportunities for local artists to sell handcrafted artwork to the community. Our shows are open to all Georgia artists over the age of 18, showing their own creations. No commercially produced work is allowed. Partnering with the Tucker Rec department in 2022/2023, ARTucker launched Art in the Park and held our first outdoor show. Now, again with Tucker Rec, we bring you ARTucker from downtown Tucker. Monies generated are used for marketing and show operations. Remaining funds have been returned to the Tucker community in the past and have provided financial support of the Tucker Recreation Center, the Tucker Art Guild, Tucker High School's art program, and Scraplanta. All booth spaces are 10’x10’ and a tent is required. The tents should be designed for outdoor use and capable of withstanding the elements. Weights are required. No tent screws or long stakes allowed. Booths will be located on a grassy area in the center of the park. Security: While all reasonable care will be exercised, neither ARTucker, Tucker Parks and Rec Department, nor the City of Tucker shall be responsible for loss or damage to merchandise or for injury for anyone participating in the show. If insurance is desired, it must be secured by the exhibitor. Important information: 1. Booth spaces are assigned by ARTucker and are not interchangeable. 2. Artists must be present during the entire event and must personally staff their booth space. 3. Art in the Park is a family friendly event. Artwork intended for mature audiences will not be considered. 4. ARTucker, Tucker Parks and Rec Department, and the City of Tucker assumes no responsibility for loss, damage, or theft. 5. No electrical outlets, chargers, tents, weights or display materials will be provided. Setup: Day of event setup on April 26, 2024 begins at 7 am. You will be given the chance to sign up for a 30 minute load in window. Times for these windows will range from 7am to 9 am. A map with your location will be sent to you by email prior to the event and is also shown below. Volunteers will be available to help with load in but are not guaranteed. Parking for ARTucker 2024
Welcome to ARTucker 2024. There’ll be plenty to enjoy this year including a new live performance area and chalk painting. That’s in addition to the 50 fabulous local artists who’ll be on hand to help you find that perfect gift for teachers, graduates, and Mom. The parking lots in the 4316 Church Street green space will be used for our food vendors and chalking, so plan on parking at the lots owned by the Tucker First United Methodist Church. The Church knows we’re having the event and they have generously extended their hospitality! So, some parking is right next door and some is across the street. A police officer will also be on hand to help guide you once you’re in the area. |
